General Questions

  • What are the Intelligent ICT Awards?

  • The Intelligent ICT Awards celebrate innovation, excellence and leadership in ICT, recognising individuals, teams and organisations making significant contributions to the industry.

  • Where and when will the event take place?

  • The awards take place in Johannesburg (May) and Dubai (October), with a Leadership Edition in Berlin (May) and an SME Edition in Cape Town (November). Please visit our regional event pages for specific dates and locations.

Nominations and Categories

  • How can I submit a nomination?

  • Nominations are quick and easy to complete and can be submitted through our nomination portal. You can either complete the online form and upload any required supporting materials or download the Word document and email it.

  • What are the award categories?

  • We have six categories – Enterprise, Security, Channel, Business, Data Centres and Leadership – which each feature both end-user and vendor awards.

  • Who can I nominate and what information should I include?

  • You can nominate yourself, your colleagues, clients, partners or anyone else that you feel has made an impact on the regional ICT community. Our nomination form is clearly broken down into key sections to make the process as easy as possible.

  • Is there a fee to submit a nomination?

  • Unlike many other industry awards, there is no charge to submit a nomination. What’s more, there is no charge for shortlisted nominees to attend the evening – so there’s really nothing to lose by submitting an entry.

Judging and Selection Process

  • Who are the judges for the awards?

  • Our judging panel consists of experienced industry experts and leaders from across the ICT sector. The full panel will be announced closer to the event.

  • How are the winners selected?

  • Nominations are evaluated based on specific criteria for each category. Judges review the submissions and score each nomination to ultimately select the winners.

  • When will the finalists and winners be announced?

  • Finalists will be announced in April and winners will be revealed during the awards ceremony.

Event Details and Participation

  • Can I register to attend the event?

  • Due to the popularity of the event, we currently do not have an option to attend unless you are a sponsor or a finalist.

  • Is the event formal or informal?

  • The Intelligent ICT Awards are known for their relaxed and informal atmosphere, designed to encourage networking and collaboration. You’ll find cocktail tables, canapes and free-flowing drinks throughout the evening.
